Angels Gone Fishin

I see some smiling ladies

With their bonnets and their poles

Laughing,Walking,Chatting

To their favorite fishing hole

Wasn't oh s0 long ago

Each breath was hard to make

Each then only dreamed

Of past times by the lake

Clear blue skies and sunshine

And many stories told

Jokes and wild make believe

Of fishes to behold

For many years their trips had ended

They couldn't make the walk

But smiled over coffee

And of that lake did talk

First Jesus took the daughters pain

Asked her to come home

Mother cried and prayed each day

And dreamed her dreams alone

Late one night I heard my sis

Her voice so strong and clear

It won't be long now mother

Till we'll go fishin here

Momma smiled in her sleep

And held her bible near

Ifelt the Angel comfort her

And take away her fear

Jesus knows a fishin hole

The rest of us can't see

But mothers smile tells me

That's where her and sis will be

I miss you Helen,I love you mom
